the house
The farmhouse is set in a secluded valley and has stunning views over the Devon countryside. After several years of renovation, we opened for guests in summer 2022. We kept all the old features - and found some hidden ones like an amazing carved stone fireplace in one of the bedrooms - but we added some modern luxuries to make it the perfect place for a family holiday or special celebration.
the layout
There are five fabulous bedrooms upstairs and loads of space downstairs. We find large families or groups of friends sometimes like to be all together and sometimes like to spread themselves around – some in the TV room watching films, some in the snug reading or playing games round the table and some in the sitting room.
